Data deletion requests

Kairnex Guardian does not require users to create a Guardian account for the current Android closed test build. Local scan content stays on the user device unless the user configures optional hosted analysis.

How to request deletion

Email [email protected] with the subject line "Kairnex Guardian data deletion request." Include the email address used for the support request, the approximate date of the request, and enough non-sensitive context for Kairnex Solutions to locate the data.

Data this request covers

A deletion request can cover Guardian support emails, support attachments, and any hosted Guardian analysis records that can reasonably be associated with the requester. Users should not send passwords, one-time codes, recovery codes, private keys, full payment card numbers, or full financial account numbers with the request.

Data not stored by Guardian

The Guardian API is designed not to persist raw scan content. Local scan content on the user's device can be deleted by clearing app data or uninstalling the app.

Data retained outside Guardian

Google Play manages Android subscription purchases, payment processing, renewals, cancellations, refunds, taxes, and purchase records. Users can manage Google Play purchase and subscription data through their Google account and Google Play settings.

Retention

Kairnex Solutions will delete or anonymize covered support data that can reasonably be associated with the requester unless retention is required for legal, security, fraud prevention, tax, or dispute-resolution reasons.
